First day at Booking Experts

A new chapter awaits!

Today marks my first day at Booking Experts. It feels like both an exciting step forward and a moment where several paths of my journey come together.
After 8 years of Beter Bekend, this switch to feels like a welcome change.

What is Booking Experts?

Booking Experts is a fast-growing company that develops an all-in-one platform for holiday parks, resorts, and hospitality businesses. Their software helps operators manage bookings, streamline operations, and deliver a seamless guest experience.

What resonates with me is their focus on innovation and usability — two principles I’ve always valued highly in my own work.

Why joining them?

My connection with Booking Experts goes back further than today. Years ago, I first encountered the system while working at a campsite. Later, as co-founder of Beter Bekend, I worked with multiple clients who relied on Booking Experts to run their businesses.

At Beter Bekend, I specialized in developing digital solutions and increasingly focused on AI-driven tools to improve workflows and customer experiences. That blend of technology, creativity, and problem-solving has shaped how I look at building products.

Now, at Booking Experts, I have the opportunity to bring those experiences together. As a Product Manager (CMS), I’ll be working on the in-house content management system that powers all websites built by Booking Experts.
I’ll be responsible for improving the product, defining its roadmap, and shaping the long-term vision.

Paths coming together

Looking back, the different paths I’ve taken now seem to converge.

This role allows me to combine my passion for technology, my product mindset, and my understanding of the leisure industry into one direction.

Looking ahead

I’m excited to start this new chapter and to contribute to a product that has already played a role in different stages of my journey. More than just a new job, it feels like the logical next step — one that connects past experiences with future ambitions.
