About me

Hi, I’m Jens van Wijhe. As a creative technologist, I enjoy blending AI, technology, and product thinking into simple, user-friendly software.

In the past, I worked as a software engineer, UX designer, and product manager at several agencies.
Later, I co-founded my own digital agency Beter Bekend, where I combined these roles to build products for a variety of clients.

In 2025, I joined Booking Experts, where I now work as a Product Manager.

What do I do?

As a Product Manager at Booking Experts, I focus on improving usability, defining roadmaps, and shaping the long-term vision of digital products.

With over 10 years of experience in tech, I’ve worked on a wide variety of projects. In the past, I co-founded Beter Bekend, a digital agency specialized in websites, web applications, and e-commerce.

What drives me is taking complex challenges and making them understandable, practical, and simple.

Passion for AI

AI has become a major interest of mine. I’m particularly excited about applying AI seamlessly in products — not as a gimmick, but as a way to create better workflows and smoother user experiences.

Outside of work

Beyond tech, I enjoy the outdoors — hiking, skiing, and exploring the mountains. You can find a glimpse of that side of me on Instagram / Bergfanaten.
